High-frequency therapy is an intensive hair treatment used to treat and calm inflammation, itching, scalp tenderness, sluggish or slow growth areas, hair loss, hair thinning, dandruff, excessive shedding, postpartum clients and early signs of alopecia. The treatment uses ultra-violet and high-frequency rays to stimulate the hair follicles, boost blood supply to the hair follicles, draw nutrients to the roots, and encourage hair growth. The treatment also improves blood circulation to the scalp, allowing nutrient delivery, and improves cell turnover rate, minimizing dandruff, keeping the scalp healthy, and maintaining overall hair health.

Low Level Laser Therapy has been suggested to modulate hormonal factors implicated in hair loss, such as DHT levels and androgen receptor sensitivity. By regulating hormone levels and signaling pathways, LLLT may help mitigate the effects of androgenetic alopecia and promote hair regrowth.
